In Carmel Valley, CA which is located inland from Carmel-by-the sea, CA there is a place called Earthbound Farms (maybe you have seen their packaged salad mixes in the grocery store). At this particular location they grow different flowers throughout the year. They also have a bee hives right next to the flowers. Took this picture just after sunrise. I had to wait for the sun to peak over the ridge to get the colors to come out on the hives. Behind where I am standing is their market. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch.
