Went out to a local set of waterfalls to catch a KP8 aurora. It ended up being incredibly insane! The colours were pinks, reds, greens, and blues. It filled the entire sky and lit up the ground. The hardest parts were getting to the spot in the dark. Finding a suitable composition that also favoured the location of the tripod legs on the rocks, without having the camera fall in to the water below. After that, getting a correct exposure was difficult because usually I have some settings in mind, but it was so bright and moving so much that those settings didn't work and had to speed it up to get the bands to "freeze" and compensate with ISO.
