Australian Emerald. On a good day they will hover a lot in a smaller area making closeup images like this possible. I just love their iridescent eyes which can be anything from green to blue and a touch of magenta - all depending on the angle of the sun and reflected colours of the surroundings.
Afternoon sun on large flat rushes are providing the background colours.
Simple contrast and saturation tweaks with a little sharpening.
