I bought an FZ300 about 3 1/2 years ago to photograph dogs at a breeders after I realised my phone wasn't up to the task.
I immediately fell in love with nature / wildlife photography and wandering through the local fields and woods became a daily activity. It didn't take long to know I wanted something better but was on a bit of a tight budget. Eventually I acquired an older Lumix m43 body with a couple of kit lenses. As luck would have it, I found an excellent 2nd hand copy of the Pana Leica 100-400mm locally - so I was able to see it first. So then I needed a better body and bought a 2nd hand Lumix G9. I was pretty happy with that pair. Earlier this year I bought a new Lumix G9M2 and the PL 12-60mm and a 2nd hand 45mm macro. The budget was blown but the kit is all I need for now...
