On a walk near a neighborhood pond in North Carolina, I spotted this Great Blue Heron standing on a concrete ring structure. Framed the image with an overhanging tree and bushes in front and colorful fall foliage from across the pond reflected on the pond surface. The resolution of the iPhone camera give it an impressionist appearance. 26 mm, ISO 32, f 1.6, 1/679 sec.
