This image was taken for my book Connecticut Gardens. I went back to this garden several time before I caught this lotus flower open. I had never seen a lotus flower before and it was totally worth the extra effort. It was taken with a Canon 5D IV at f8 with a 24-105mm lens. I darkened the background & lighten the flower in Lightroom to make it pop.
