I took this December of 2018. I went out to take some seascape images at a local beach in Southern California. The skies were gloomy, and I thought for sure the clouds were too thick to produce any "good" light. I packed up and started driving home. After driving 5 minutes on PCH, I started to notice the skies were really starting the light up. The photography gods were punishing me for leaving early. I started to think where I can pull over and get a shot of what's happening. As I was driving through Corona Del Mar, the sky was on fire. I dipped down a small street and ended up at a nice bluff to photograph a decent composition. This is the image I got. In my haste, I forgot to set the aperture, and so the shot was at F/1.4. I didn't really matter as everything was so far away anyway.

The color in this image is not faked. I only made minor adjustments to the RAW file as it already had plenty of saturation.

Fuji X-T2, Fuji 16mm F/1.4 @ F/1.4, ISO 200, 1/250 sec
