In graphic design school I was taking macro images of paper to create photographs that felt as if they were planets in space. I was wrapping the paper around a LED task tamp and with such a shallow depth of field this image came across as seeing the surface of a sun from an impossible vantage point.

I used a Pentax K5 with an adapted m42 screw mount lens and an Agfaphoto macro lens set.

I increased the exposure, contrast, and I white balance adjusted the image. I also used the warp tool to make the curve of the paper feel a bit more rounded.
