The theme is color so here's fall color. The park contains 24 named waterfalls, 21 of which can be seen on a 4.1 mile hiking loop. This was taken last month. The park is popular and well known (Gavin Hardcastle made the drive down from Canada for one of his videos), but start the hike at dawn and you’ll generally have peace and quiet. A bridge crosses the river just below this waterfall and I was able to set up there. I played with a few compositions before settling on this one, which is a blend of two frames. The scene is mostly the numbers above but I also shot a faster frame to handle breeze driven leaf movement here and there. For the edit, I blended the frames, globally adjusted tone and contrast, selectively brought out the fall color a bit, and dodged and burned here and there. Nothing terribly drastic.
