At a local river, I noticed a swan with 5 cygnets. So I watched them for awhile from a distance as I didn't want to upset them or make them anxious. I was waiting maybe half and hour or more and nothing happened. I just couldn't get a shot of the cygnets with Mum. Anyway I gave up and moved away further down the river. I had moved maybe 100 meters or more and all thoughts of the Swans had gone from my mind. Then suddenly two swans came barrelling down the river. It became obvious that there was an intruder being shown the exit rather abruptly. This Swan was just starting to rise from the water as it was passing me and I just framed and panned. I didn't get a chance to adjust setting, nothing and this was the result. I was chuffed, I love this image.
