Singer-songwriter Callum Toner needed branding portraits that expressed her ethereal sound. We did a series using two gelled constant lights (one blue, one magenta to vibe with her tattoos and hair) with a off-camera flash to freeze her in place. When the flash popped, the shutter, with a 2/5 second exposure, briefly remained open. I flicked the camera and she moved as well to create blur and a ghost image. Shot with a Nikon D750, ISO 100, 24-120 lens set at 50mm and f/4.0.
