I shot this last year at a K-9 competition in Los Angeles County. During the event, officers performed a pursuit scenario, which included LAPD's Aero Bureau flying overhead. I bought a 200-500mm lens the year before for an air show, so that really came in handy to get this shot. Combined with the Nikon Z8, it provided enough sharpness and clarity to see the reactions on the observer's face.
Shot with a Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera body using a Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR AF-S Nikkor Lens set to 270mm. ISO was set at 100, shutter speed of 1/400 sec to get some motion blur but still keep the aircraft tack sharp, at f/5.6.
