"Intersection"
An image taken on a recent road trip up the California and Oregon Coast. This particular spot is where Mill Creek flows into the Smith River inside Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, accessed via the Stout Grove Trail. Positioning my tripod low at the water's edge, I used a slightly longer exposure to emphasize the creek's movement as it flowed into the larger, deeper river. This natural angular positioning yielded some interesting intersecting lines of color, textures and motion that first drew me to the scene.
