Giro d Italia is a famous 3 weeks cycling grand tour race but at the same time it is also a very big promotional event for Italian tourism. So the stages are planned around interesting places and in Italy there are many. Vicenza hosted finish of one stage of 2025 Giro. Race just unfolded in front of Santuario Monte Berico which is in the photo.
I was following Giro already for a few days. Somehow I arrived to this place quite late when everything was already super busy and fully packed with many spectators. So the main challenge was access to a decent shooting spot to get a "clean" shot. I placed my camera on the ground just under the fence and shoot "blindly" (DSLR with no tilted screen).
