This was shot in-studio on a black backdrop as a promotional image for an actress friend of mine. I used 3 strobes and 1 continuous light, each with a different colored gel. The two edge lights were both strobes in gridded medium stripboxes, with a yellow gel on camera left and a green/teal gel high on camera right. The other strobe was a beauty dish on camera left, almost 90 degrees to the model, with a blue gel. The motion blur comes from a continuous LED with a 51" silver umbrella with a red gel camera right at about 45 degrees. Camera settings were ISO 250, SS 1/20, f/5.6, shot at around 55mm on a 24-70mm lens. The magic comes from camera movement, model movement, and a lot of trial and error. (No photoshop- just color adjustments in Capture One)
