Thor's Well on the Oregon coast is such a fun location to shoot. You have to hike out to it across slippery and sharp rocks, but are rewarded with amazing calm tide pools and this violently churning hole in the rocks that erupts like a geyser as the waves come in and out. Early morning is the best time to be there, there are few if any other people, and the tide pools are their calmest. However, due to the hills to the east, it is hard to get really good light, so I thought, what if this was the other end of the day and it just had an incredible sunset happening. Into ChatGPT we go with the image, and a simple prompt - change this image to be happening with a fantastic sunset in the distance. Ensure there is a good amount of cloud cover and that the light touches those clouds. Original Shot on Nikon D850 with 14-24 F2.8
