One thing that really struck me is how this compares to the best and worst cameras of say, 2013. That was right at the cusp of the beginning of the mirrorless era, and some cameras and lenses were fantastic and others not so much. Nowadays, though, it is remarkable just how good both cameras and lenses are. Even the more middling options still perform quite well, easily producing workable images that would have been considered top-notch a decade ago. And then, the cameras and lenses that are "good" are really quite superb and able to tackle just about any conceivable scenario you could throw at them with ease.
