An Epic Showdown Between the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Sony a7 III, Panasonic S1, Nikon Z 6, Sony a7S II, and Panasonic GH5

There has never been a better time to be looking for a camera, as there is a veritable plethora of high quality cameras with an array of feature sets and prices available to anyone looking. This fantastic showdown takes a look at a wide variety of some of the most popular and intriguing cameras out there.

Coming to you from wolfcrow, this comprehensive comparison review takes a look at the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Sony a7 III, Panasonic S1, Nikon Z 6, Sony a7S II, and Panasonic GH5. Each of these cameras has an impressive feature set that can satisfy the needs of a lot of shooters, but of course, each has their own strengths and weaknesses, and there is a wide range of prices across the spectrum. For filmmakers, cameras like the GH5 offer a smaller sensor, but also a smaller body size that means a higher degree of portability, along with a wide range of video-centric features. On the other hand, a camera like the Sony a7 III offers a lot of features that make it a great option for hybrid shooters, as I discussed in my review of it. Check out the video above for the full comparison of all the cameras.

Always great to see these comparisons. Makes me miss when Zacuto used to do the Great Camera Shootout. It was an awesome in-depth comparison of all the cameras in real world situations covering everything from noise, latitude, highlight recovery, etc. Even better was when they brought in someone who was an expert with that particular camera, so they knew the tricks on how to get the best image and color grade out of that model to make it as fair as possible.

To my eyes Camera A and D have the best image with best color. They must be the 2 sony’s. A7sII and A7III

You must have skipped the video because he said both Sony’s had the worst color accuracy.

C.D.A.B.

Why is there a stupid iPhone but no EOS R?

Canon wouldn’t loan one.

so my preference: C, A, D, B.
Now i am curious wich camera belongs to the letters.
