[Gear] Nikon D800 and Canon 5D MKIII ISO Samples

The Nikon D800 has been much criticized for its enormous megapixel count. And some have worried that packing 36 megapixels into a full frame sensor might lead to decreased low-light performance. These samples, however, push those worries aside. It's no D4, but for 36 megapixels, I think Nikon should win an award for this. Canon took a different route with the 22-megapixel 5D Mark III, but that paid off, too. See for yourself in the full post!

I own both the d800 and 5d MK III and I can say that you do get a little more detail from the d800 but the MK III is a lot cleaner at all ISO'S. Both are great cameras, but the MK III is the better all around camera for sure.

Soooo, where is the comparison? Doesn't anyone edit the content on this site?

first of all, why D800 and not D800E?

Next, DXOMark says you're wrong : http://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Ratings/Sports

nuff said. Canon is over taken by Sony and soon Samsung in technical quality of DSLR body. Their Lenses however, rock your sox off!
