Photography Gift Ideas for Under $100

With Christmas lurking over the hill like a bright red flashing pickpocket, it's time to start figuring out what to buy your loved ones. If they are a photographer, here are some ideas that won't bankrupt you.

There are few things I find more irritating than needing to get someone a gift, but not having any ideas on what to get them. What's worse is when that person has clear interests, but I know very little or nothing about them. This is what a number of our loved ones have to deal with every Christmas and birthday; they know we love photography, but what do you buy a photographer?

Well, perhaps you can like this article when it's shared on Facebook, or throw a comment up and hope the breadcrumbs find their way to the relevant person. If what you want isn't on the list, add it in a comment for added accuracy and begin preparing your "no way, how did you know?" face.

After my article on gifts photographers don't want a couple of years ago, I promised to do one on gifts we do, and I will, but for now I have a suggestion for under $100. A Gorilla Pod. Depending on the size of the camera the person uses, you can get one for as low as $28 and they are brilliant not only for cameras, but for flashguns and GoPros too.

Is it so difficult to write a list instead of expecting people to watch 9 min video?
