Many users are still waiting for a professional mirrorless camera from Canon, but in the meantime, few can argue the quality of the corresponding RF lenses. This helpful video takes a look at the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM lens.
Coming to you from Jared Polin, the video review examines the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM lens. Canon's RF lenses have been widely lauded for their optical quality and for pushing the boundaries of lens design, particularly in models like the RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens. And while those more extreme lenses are certainly intriguing, their higher prices and larger sizes may leave professionals who just need the more standard workhorses looking elsewhere, which is where the holy trinity of f/2.8 zooms comes into the picture. The RF 15-35mm f/2.8L offers some improvements over its EF predecessor, the most notable being the inclusion of image stabilization. Along with that come two Ultra-Low Dispersion elements to minimize aberrations, three aspherical elements for reduced distortion, Air-Sphere Coating for less flares and ghosting, a weather-resistant design, rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh, and Canon's customizable control ring. Check out the video above for Polin's full thoughts.
Wowo. This lens is almost a statement. I'm curious about astrophotography potencial, so one could have a very decent lens for astro, landscape, real estate and events glass in only one (big) investment.
