Are you interested in everything that Apple has coming out in the near future but you don't want to watch 2 hours of fluff and buzz words? You're in luck because Gizmodo just edited down the entire presentation into just 90 seconds and it's basically all you need to see.
Here's a quick overview
1. The iPad Pro is coming out. It's bigger, has a Surface Pro style keyboard/cover, and can accept the new Apple Pencil.
2. IOS 9 for iPad will finally allow multitasking for iPad Air and Air 2.
3. The new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be the same basic shape with upgraded internals; better camera, 4k video, faster processor, and "force touch/3D touch."
4. The Apple TV will now offer more customization, a touch sensitive remote (that finally controls volume), and Siri. For some reason it can't play 4k, even though the iPhone can shoot it.
5. The Apple watch is getting new bands (who cares?) and a software update that will give developers more control over the watch.
I'm going to post the word Microsoft to see how many down votes I can get!
Haha quite funny the whole auditorium went quiet when "microsoft" was invited.
It's interesting Tim Cook as Apple's CEO didn't even make an appearance in this edit. The whole presentation didn't seem to have much to do with him. Truly miss Steve Jobs.
Its amazing how i didn't mind a bit listening to him ramble on for 2 hrs about new apple products. Even more, i used to look forward with anticipation to the keynotes. I am still a loyal Mac user and cannot live without my iPhone ( I was the first person to get one even tho they were not even for sale in Australia ) but gone are those days and you won't see me rushing to the stores to get my hands on that watch or a new iAd any time soon... maaaaaaaayyybe the pen if the software gods can deliver the goods to go with it I may then take a second look
Yes gone are the days when market had no apple competitors. Nowadays almost every manufacturers offer high spec products with elegant designs. Packaging technology has always been apple's strong suit but hopefully the giant will never stop innovating. Speaking of the Apple pencil....Apple should really develop "Find my Pencil"...
90 seconds is a bit longer than my experience with windows. I commend you guys for putting up with it. I once made the mistake of buying a PC, two weeks into it and I had windows popping everywhere, because I installed a RAR opening app. Never going back, I rather pay more for for the piece of mind.
I think that I saw on the slide for the iPad that it uses the A8X chip while the guy said it uses the A9X chip. But if Apple determined that Intel produced more powerful chips than the PowerPC of latter years, why is Apple putting a chip in the iPad that powers smartphones (iOS and Android)?
Rose Gold finish: Ohh! Ahhh!
