Em was on her way to Milan Fashion Week. She wanted a few extra looks to add to her portfolio. We spent an afternoon together getting her what she needed. This image was one of my favs.

Kala is attending a local modeling school. She has a great girl next door look. When we were planning our shoot, she mentioned using a scarf as a prop.
Luck enough to have a friend willing to let me practice. This is from the Sony Planar Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 on the Sony a7iii. No color manipulation on he eyes, those are the real deal.
Ellie saw one of my IG posts. She reached out to the model to ask about the experience. I got rave reviews so Ellie booked me for her very first fashion shoot.
Rachael is a local model instructor. She took some time off to haver her second child. I think this 2-time mommy rocked this session. I hope you like it.
Beth needed to refresh her portfolio. When she got here, we were going through her wardrobe, she pulled out this high cropped top but didn't have bottoms to go with it.
I don't usually do themed shoots. Rachel is a great model and when she approached me with this idea, I decided to go with it. I hope you like it.
A local natural light photographer reached out for studio light mentoring. He brought Riley as our model. We spent an afternoon in the studio. We got some killer images.
It truly is.
Emerald came over for a 3-look content builder session. When we pulled out the tiger print jacket I knew I wanted to pair that with a teak chair in my studio. I really loved how it came out.
Mackenzie just signed with a modeling agency. She needed images for her portfolio. Her skin was perfect so I decided to use hard light. I like this image. I hope you do.
A mutual friend recommended Drea and I connect on a photo shoot. We picked several looks including this one with black leather pants. We wanted to shoot in an alley.
I simply love everything ive created this year
Kate and I have been following each other's IG for years. We finally connected for a shoot. It was definitely worth the wait. Here's one of the looks from our 3-look set. Hope you like it.
Morgan came over for a shoot. She brought her boyfriend. At the end she admitted she was hoping to get a couples shot since she was encouraging him to start modeling. We shot a few, this was one.
I stopped by the modeling agency to drop off my updated portfolio. Christina happened to be there talking with the receptionist as I walked in. A few days later, she reached out to set up a shoot.
My first maternity shoot. We would have liked a magic hour outdoor shoot, but Chicago is cold and looks like shit this time of year. Congrats to mama.

I participated in a 8 way cross promotion recently. Three photographers, two makeup artists, two models and a hair stylist got together to cross promote each others work. This is Cassidy.
Ellie and I shot her very first fashion shoot a few months ago. We instantly had a chemistry that came through in the images.
I was able to connect with Dai again when I was in Arizona a few weeks ago. We were in her home getting ready for a more formal portrait when I saw her in the mirror.
Emma and I planned a shoot while she was home from university on Spring Break. The weather didn't cooperate so we canceled thinking we'd shoot when she was back in town.
Alisha and I have been trying to connect since last Summer. Our schedules finally lined up recently. We shot a 3-look set. We shot one of her brands for our outdoor look. I hope you like it.
Taylor's agency recommended we get together for a test. I took the opportunity to play around with a staked key light pattern (one was the main the other was the fill). I think I like it.
Alison is a model, medical student and entrepreneur. She came over for a branding shoot recently. I think this image captures her brand... understated, elegant and confident.
Kayla wanted to fashion shoot during her Spring break. We planned a 3-look set one of which was denim. I was expecting "blue". I thought it was cool when she brought "white".
I've been wanting to use some spray atmosphere but never had the chance. When Allie reached out I thought this might be a good time to try it.
It's been a while since I've shared new work here, so here it goes... two recent portraits inspired by renaissance art and Elizabethan times.
I met Jane a few months back at a private group shoot with a couple of other photographers. I thought she had a top notch range of facial expressions that just came naturally to her.
I met Teresa at a recent fashion show. It was hard not to notice her given her long legs. We thought it'd be good to work together. I, of course, wanted to celebrate her legs.
