Although it is rarely used, almost every digital camera has a built-in function that can vastly improve how you see a scene, and this great video tutorial will show you how to take advantage of it for better landscape images.
Coming to you from Alister Benn of Expressive Photography, this excellent video tutorial will show you the benefits of using the monochrome picture profile on your camera. This function does exactly what its name implies: it turns the image black and white, both on the rear LCD screen and in the electronic viewfinder if you are using a mirrorless camera. By removing all color, you can more easily see and work with the light in a scene, which will lead to a more discerning eye and stronger photos.
