Excelsior Geyser Crater / Don’t Go Near The Water #3

At the time I photographed this feature it was rated as the world’s largest geysers.. Eruptions 300’ (91.5m) wide and up to 100’ (30.5m) high, known to eject 100 lb. (45.5kg) rocks.
Non-eruption spring discharge is 4000-4500 gallons of water at 199˚ F per minute (15100-17000 L @ 93˚C) drain into the Firehole River.
