First Light of Dawn

35mm · f/11 · 1/15 sec · ISO 200

One early morning in the North Cascades a few years ago.

I remember waking up at 2am and hiking in the dark to reach this location in time to catch the morning light. I scrambled to find a composition as the light was getting good, which is always a challenge. I ended up settling on this 4-image pano using the beautiful snowy slopes in front of me as the foreground. Today I probably would have edited it a bit differently, but here was the result I came up with then.

Stunning landscape! Well done Yuriy!

AMAZING light and capture. Love the edit. Feels like a movie opener

Thanks! A movie set in this mountain range would certainly be worth watching, it's such a beautiful place.
