Moody sunrise at Laupahoehoe Beach on the Big Island of Hawai'i

Shot on my Sony A7 II attached to a Tamron 28-200 at 28mm f/8 for 1/800 of a second. Seconds later, my feet, tripod, and camera were drenched – happy to report it was worth it.

Processed in Lightroom using basic slider adjustments and some luminance masking to make the crashing wave pop.
