The spider on the train.

Every year, at the end of the World Ijtema in Dhaka, Bangladesh, millions of Muslim devotees begin their journey home by train. This mass departure turns railway stations into scenes of overwhelming rush and chaos. The sheer volume of people struggling to board is both intense and mesmerizing to witness. In the frenzy, surreal moments unfold—people sprint toward moving trains, clinging to doors, roofs, and even windows. I was fortunate to capture one such striking scene: a man, spider-like, climbing through a train window, while in the adjacent windows two stunned passengers watched in disbelief. Their silent reactions, frozen in contrast to his desperate movement, created an unforgettable image of human determination and urgency.
