Swiss Alps

Some time ago, we went on a multi-day hike around the Matterhorn. One day, I was lucky enough to spot a glacier from above—a glacier that, unfortunately, was already in retreat. Several years later, we returned to the same area and were fortunate to see it once again. It had indeed receded by several meters, and rocks were falling from its upper edges onto the surface below. We ventured inside and managed to photograph it from within—an awe-inspiring and humbling experience.
