As darkness fell over the dunes, it was time to head home. The light was gone…the last of the photos taken—or so I thought. In a moment of serendipity, I turned after scaling the last high dune and watched in awe as the sky turned to fire over dunes dyed in blue.
A reminder that the light that lifts our heart is just around the corner waiting to be seen--that the otherworldly is all around us

It almost looks like a painting.
There were huge wind storms going on during my visit and it definitely added layers of softness over the dunes. Made an already incredible place even more surreal! Thanks for your comment!
