The Arriaga Theater is a theater in Bilbao. It is a neo-baroque building from the late 19th century, designed by architect Joaquín de Rucoba and dedicated to Bilbao composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, who was known as the "Spanish Mozart." It was inaugurated on May 31, 1890. It is one of the most important theaters in Bilbao and also one of the city's most notable buildings. It has suffered various misfortunes that have forced its reconstruction and renovation, from the fire in 1914 to the floods of 1983. Quote: Wikipedia
