Sadarghat, the busiest launch terminal in Dhaka, is an epic and ever-moving landscape of human stories—so striking that scenes from the film Extraction were shot here. This image was captured on the eve of the Eid holidays in 2026, when the city begins its great migration as people journey back to their hometowns. Photographed from aerial view, the scene reveals the overwhelming scale of this annual exodus. From Sadarghat, more than a 150 launches over 37 routes depart toward the southern regions of Bangladesh, carrying approximate 1 millions of passengers eager to reunite with their families from mega city Dhaka.. Despite the immense crowd and chaos, there is a quiet sense of relief and anticipation—an unspoken joy of finally heading home.
