Running Basset 1

Captured on an Oregon beach in the early morning, this series features my two basset hounds set against a moody coastal backdrop. The combination of diffused sunlight and incoming clouds creates a layered scene with soft shadows and subtle highlights. By shooting close to the ground, the composition enhances texture in the sand and brings attention to the movement and presence of the subjects, while the distant coastline adds depth. Photographed on a Fuji X-T5 for its ability to render natural tones and dynamic range.
