Blue-Eyed Grass

Blue is the most unusual color for flowers. Fewer than 10% of the nearly 300,000 species of flowering plants produce blue blooms. Plants lack a true blue pigment and instead must manipulate red anthocyanin pigments through complex interactions with pH and reflected light.
