Firmly determined. That's an attribute that for some is very attractive and other intimidating. They know who they are and can't be pushed around. It would be a tragedy if they were finally all alimented (exterminated). North America (The World) would not be same without Bison.

Think the photo is excellent. I would not near such an animal in real life and to photograph it I'd need a lens capable at getting such a shot from half a mile away.
You are a wise man. I've been around many Bison. I placed myself in a location they could not reach. They should not be approached. Especially in open spaces. Unpredictable, they are.
