A dynamic studio portrait photographed against a dark background, using movement in the hair as a central part of the composition. The symmetrical pose, direct gaze and white shirt create a strong graphic structure, while the flowing hair adds energy and breaks the stillness of the image. I wanted to combine a controlled portrait setup with a sense of motion and spontaneity.
