Female portrait

A studio portrait built around reflection and symmetry, using mirrored surfaces to repeat the subject’s face, hands and arms across the frame. The dark background, restrained colour palette and direct gaze keep the image graphic and focused, while the reflections add structure and a slightly surreal quality. I wanted the composition to feel elegant and visually controlled without losing the intimacy of the portrait.
