Earth Palette

Getting this shot required a predawn, uphill, hike on a rather skinny ridge trail that consisted of lose sand, gravel and a few makeshift steps just big enough for your toe. The slopes on either side of the trail would be unforgiving should you happen to slip or misstep.
The reward is a view of sunrise color, contour and texture that is amazing.
