The need to discover, the love of an adventure, pushed outside and onto the road by the emotions of travel.
I did not plan or wait for the Northern Lights at The Athabasca Falls, but given where I was I knew the possibility was always there. As the sun began to set and its glow faded over the horizon I got the first insight into what would be an epic show that outlasted me, but not before I took advantage of the overwhelming sky along the Icefields parkway.
