very simple, one 120cm gridded octa box with the front diffuser removed, I don't remember if there was a reflector on the other side or not
Interesting! I haven't removed the front diffuser for a food photo before, I guess it would give you some more highlights and harder light to bring out the texture of the food, but still be soft enough. Thanks for sharing the info!
