At Night

A starry south african night over Cathkin peak in th drakensberg, with the beautiful Sterkspruit falls in the foreground. This waterfall is usually only seen and photographed from a dedicated viewing platform on the left just out of frame. To get to this location I had to cross the river quite close to the falls, which drop about 20 meters into a flat, rocky pool at the bottom. Luckily the riverbed is fairly smooth and flat, but going back at night is still a bit scetchy.
This verticle panorama is a combination of three shots, two long exposures with different focus for the land, and one "short" exposure with a high iso for the sky.
