Taken on one of my favorite trails in Acadia National Park, the Beech Mountain Trail zig-zags up a steep face. The entire 1.2 mile hike is encased in the thick forest, including this rock face. This was shot on the fly, capturing the single moment my girlfriend looked up at the rock face.
