Lonely Flight

I don’t think I felt solitude anywhere else in Iceland quite like I felt it here, even with the birds soaring in my view. Something about a span of shoreline without anyone on it makes it feel like you’re the last human on Earth. I sat here for a while, soaking up this strange yet amazingly calming feeling before continuing onward.
