Thanks, Cathleen. It hasn't got any comments until yours after a year, so I guess it doesn't appeal to as many people as some of my other images. You may like Jack Dykinga's work, which is sometimes like this, although very (too) dramatic for me.

How is this simply solid? It's simply a great abstract rendering of water and rock structure. Humans... pffftttt.
