I loved the look of those golden jets of water and the energy yet simultaneous calm of the scene. The water is a little stained with tannins, but here it doesn't look muddy, as it often can. The faint sunlight and the reflection of the blue sky capped it off.
Sadly, there is a plaque a couple of yards away, commemorating a teenager who plunged to his death from this spot at the top of the falls. Nature has no mercy. I'm very careful with her. Wet rocks in fresh water are so slippery. It's all too easy to get absorbed in the viewfinder!
What a cool abstract. The textures definitely keep me searching around.
