This is a photograph of my then 8 month old niece, Isabella. I placed her in the high chair in the studio and frame the shot for symmetry. With the exposure dialed in on my little D90 and 50mm f/1.8D I began shooting away, whilst playing peek-a-boo from behind the back of the camera. Clearly my ugly appearance caused some alarm, judging from her expression and pose. One of many varied looks she gave me that day. It is still one of my favourite images.
