One of the best sunrises I have ever witnessed over Hood River, Oregon. This was taken during the winter of 2018 when grey skies are usually the norm. I always noticed the nearby Mt Hood rain shadow had an effect on Hood River, enabling a break in the winter clouds for dramatic light.
