Starway to Heaven

16mm · f/2.8,11 · 15s, 30s · ISO 8000, 1250

I captured the winding curves of Rowena, Oregon as cars drove by and the milky way rose above. Driving this highway is a wonderful escape from day to day life and reinvigorates my passion to shoot landscapes again and again.

In total 26 photos were stacked/blended for light trails, to reduce noise, and align the milky way.

Thanks John, this is a shot from 2017 that I went through this weekend and reprocessed. Going back through the website and getting it looking nice again :)

Love this shot, great work Daniel

Thanks man, I was itching to reedit this one from 2017. The bend in the road is quite iconic out here.

Whoa, beautiful! Love those light trails in the U- shape which makes for a strong foreground and I love how it takes my sight deeper into the frame towards that sky. Also, the caption is quite apt. Keep up the good work. :)

Thank you! I worked hard to keep the highlights from blowing on those trails ;) I really appreciate your feedback.
