Well thank you, John! I appreciate the kind words.
I think part of what makes this is timing. It is übersharp at 1/2000-sec. The ram has only one hoof on the ground. Everything else is suspended in the thin mountain air. The pastel sky sets him off without competing with him. Great shot!
