Taken with high speed flash, as the bird was landing on a rock to get raw peanuts. This was shot at Cave Creek , Sunny Flats Campground, Near the tiny village of Portal, Arizona. Near Rodeo, NM. This bird is very social, and will play with the other birds in the flock. They fill granaries with nuts, and later eat the worms that grow in the nuts.
